What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember your preferences, measure how many people use it and show you advertising. Alongside them we use similar technologies, such as browser local storage and tracking pixels, which serve equivalent purposes. When we talk about cookies in this policy we mean all of them.
What cookies this site uses
We use our own cookies, which the site needs in order to work, and third party cookies that let us understand visitor behaviour and measure our advertising. Below we set out each service, who provides it, what it is used for and how long the information stays on your device.
Technical and preference cookies
These are the ones that make the site work. They include the cookies WordPress generates to keep the session and display content correctly, and the ones that store your choice regarding this very cookie notice. They do not require your consent because the site cannot be provided without them.
We also use Google Tag Manager, provided by Google, which is a tag administrator. On its own it does not install cookies or collect personal data. It governs the loading of the other services listed below.
Analytics cookies
| Service | Provider | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Google LLC | Measures how many people visit the site, which pages they go through, how long they stay and where they came from. It also records form submissions and clicks on WhatsApp and on the phone number. | Up to 2 years |
| Microsoft Clarity | Microsoft Corporation | Records the browsing session, including cursor movement, clicks and scrolling, and produces heatmaps. It shows how the site is actually used so we can spot usability problems. | Between 1 day and 1 year depending on the cookie |
On session recording we want to be explicit, because it is the most intrusive technology we use. Microsoft Clarity records your path through the site anonymously, without tying it to your identity. The tool is configured not to capture what you type into the form fields. If you would rather not be recorded you can reject analytics cookies or use the opt out that the provider itself offers.
Advertising cookies
| Service | Provider | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Ads | Google LLC | Identifies whether a visit came from one of our ads and records whether that visit ended in an enquiry. It allows ads to be shown to people who already visited the site. | Up to 90 days |
| Meta Pixel | Meta Platforms Inc. | Measures how our ads perform on Facebook and Instagram, records when someone contacts us and allows advertising to be shown to audiences with similar interests. | Up to 90 days |
International transfer
Google, Meta and Microsoft process and store the information on servers located outside Argentina, mainly in the United States. By accepting analytics and advertising cookies you consent to that international transfer under section 12 of Law 25.326.
How to control cookies
You can accept or reject non essential cookies from the notice that appears when you enter the site, and change that decision whenever you like from the preference centre.
You can also manage them from your browser. Every browser lets you see stored cookies, delete them and block third party ones. Bear in mind that if you block all cookies some features of the site may stop working properly.
If you want to opt out of Google Analytics measurement specifically, you can install the opt out add on that Google offers for your browser. For personalised advertising from Meta you can adjust your preferences in your account ad settings.
